It was a long weekend so we get extra day off on Monday for Labour Day's replacement. I also promised myself to make time for my favourite beach no matter what. So yeah, die die also must go and Evon joined us later on. We didn't talk much, mostly just chill and relax ourselves before we go home for dinner.
Dinner was scrumptious too. We went to one of our regular chinese restaurants with the usual family friends. Dad ordered most of my favourite dishes. So thankful that I got to savor these foods I don't usually get to eat when I'm in KL.
A day before which is Saturday, we attended one of my close friend's wedding. Felt so touched seeing William gets married, it's just not the scene we would imagine him in. It's also nice of him to arrange our family friends seated at the same table. We laughed so much through the night like it's our own party.
I can't wait to go home for longer holidays already. T__T

Maybe having to cancel our island trip wasn't a bad thing after all.
Our families are really happy! I can feel their joy to have my presence at home. We usually have only one night stay whenever we go back so this time Mummy finally got the chance to invite Joe(with a whole new status) over for dinner. We also celebrated his parents' 31st wedding anniversary the following night at a steakhouse.. Plus BBQ at the beach with some friends, catching up on recent life, chillaxing by the beach with canned beers and laugh the night away.. Everything was unplanned, yet it brings the most pleasure. It was never easy to gather all of us, it feels like CNY all over again.

This is my favourite place near home. And I definitely miss days like this! Another spontaneous hangout after late lunch at the beach last weekend, I just couldn't say no right? It's been the longest time I haven't been here.

Can't believe it's new year again. I have been telling friends that 2012 ended too soon and all of them felt the same way I do! To say I have achieved nothing at all is completely wrong because just last September, I decided to finally take the risk to leave my comfort zone and start doing what I really want to do with my life — designing, which also indicates leaving my loved ones and started a life on my own.
Skyscrapers, busy traffic, air pollution etc. Being back in the city after 2 years feels so different. So much has changed here, included myself. When I was a student, I spent most time hanging out after classes and have weekend plans sorted out way earlier. This time, I spend my weekdays working and just staying at home during the weekend. It's a different type of productivity I'm trying to accomplish here. I started to enjoy my life from a different point of view. That's the very reason we decorated this apartment like a home than a lifeless hostel.
Anyway, I wanna thank whoever offered helps and supports along this journey, especially during my first month here. It was a tough one. I couldn't have come this far without anyone of you, especially friends staying so far away but they never fail to be there for me. Thanks to smartphones and Whatsapp so we can stay connected every single day.
