It's quarter to 4 as I'm writing this. Heck, it's just one month away to the end of Q1. 😱 My daily routine is the same everyday without fail—bath Alyssa, feed her, play with her, make her sleep & repeat. She is getting more attached to me, not even sure if it's a good thing. We left her to mum last night so both of us can have some time to ourselves for a steamboat gathering over Kuan's place. It felt great to finally have some short silence in the house while Joe was having his afternoon nap, but as soon as we're all set in the car, I felt like part of me was missing! I felt so uneasy inside out, it's really been centuries since we have long hours to ourselves. This also means how active she can be at all time.

It always give me mixed feeling being at the airport. I wouldn't call it my favourite place, but I like the excitement where I get butterflies in stomach every time I'm about to visit a new place or going back to an old place with different people, or better yet, alone by myself. I also like the feeling of being cut off and unreachable. It pretty much feels like I'm off from the world we all know and it's so good to have that feeling once in a while.

I'm not even halfway through posts about family trip to Bangkok yet. I really just need to jot everything down so that I remember how this particular place and situation made me feel before I forgot, especially when there's no visual evidences of the event.

Flying with AirAsia

Looking back through the past years made me realised how often I travelled. I guess it's the wanderlust in me, everytime a trip ends I will start planning and look forward to next one. Sometimes I can't help but ask myself, am I all set to settle down just yet? To think about it, I owed AirAsia gratitude for making it affordable for people like me, who hardly has any savings, to travel in Southeast Asia with limited budgets. Evon & I are really into being super spontaneous, whenever I have a place to go in mind I will pop the question to her and she'll mostly reply with a "yes let's go!" because why not if the tix rate is within our budget?

I happened to have a lot of airplane wing photos taken from the window seat. It's a love and hate thingy. I used to like window seat a lot, just to make sure I get enough sunlight for my food photos and whatever I'm going to do. Recently I always get the aisle seat, which is good because I don't have to bother anyone to get up so I can use the washroom.

Anyway, back to that question again—am I ready to settle down? I can tell you for sure–HELL YES! I want to believe even with being married and growing our own family, I'll still be able to do what I love. No one knows me better than Joe. I'm 101% sure he will allow me to do and pursue whatever I want. But of course I'm aware that I need to have sense of responsibility because I'm no longer by myself.

Well time is ticking, it's just another 134 days until our big day and we have so much to follow up and it's just so worrying and scary to think of! Joe is trying to calm myself all the time and tell me things will be solve eventually, let's just face it with an open mind. Last few days we had our first ever problem. One of our Airbnb stays in Jeju have been rejected and fully refunded, which really hit me like heart attack. Not only it's one place we were so thrilled to stay at but it will be one of the scenes for our pre-wedding shoot. I actually booked everything last September and innocently thinking we're only waiting for the day to come.

Wedding Preparation Tips #1: Always have a Plan B in your pocket.

It’s time of the year again where people start writing about new year resolutions & take time scroll through memories on Facebook. I would like to say that my 2015 is mainly about making memories. Since I’m free now(I’m at work actually lol), I shall list down some of the highlights in 2015!

• Visited Ringo Cafe in Malacca, happened to be my last time because they have closed down for good.
• Self-learned Ukulele. • Hiked Bukit Tabur for the first time, on Valentine's Day.
• Travelled to Krabi in March(link, link), Singapore in April(link), Bali in May(link), Boracay in Nov(link, link & link) & Bangkok last Christmas(link).
• Snorkelled and swam in the ocean without a life jacket for the first time.
• Kissed a girl. (*singing to Katy Perry's) • Hiked to the top of Kanching Waterfalls for a mini picnic.
Fell in love with my BFF whom I've known the longest time in my life.
• Took part in calligraphy class! • Met Peter Su and got his book signed!
• Bought a swan giant float & regretted not getting an electric air compressor.
• Started watching Running Man. • Given a red folding bike.
• Went to the National Zoo and finally saw the pandas.
• Celebrated our birthdays in Sunway Lagoon and saw white lions.
• Went to Pentatonix & Air Supply concert for free. • Watched Saturday Night Live Musical for free.
• Did cliff jumping for the first time @ Ariel's Point. • Witnessed a friend's proposal.
• Experienced LUXE cinema for the first time hahahaha
• Delivered more festive/birthday cards and postcards than I did previously. (I shall keep track of it)

And then, here's a list of the things I failed at getting it done FML.
TO REALLY HAVE SAVINGS.
• A new tattoo. I've been talking about it for the whole year.
• Take more photos with film camera.
• Save up for a new lens or film camera.

I guess.. that's about it!
Grey Sky Morning

The city is having a major heat wave about a week(or more) already and all I want to do is lay on the couch with some snacks to munch on and something cold to drink while watching a chick flick. Oh gosh, just picturing the scene makes me feel so contented. But anyway, now I can have excuse to have lotsa ice cold frappes and ice creams then cry in pain & regret later.

Ever since the invention of VSCO Cam, I have to admit that I've become really lazy to take time going through my photos and edit them. Time is just not enough and I’m definitely not doing enough. Anyway, here's some snippets from my last Krabi trip. We stayed at a different side this time around and spent lesser time at the beach. However, it was somewhat an unforgettable trip because we had small accident on our rafting session, which is quite scary to even recall back.

I’ve been stalking this guy from Taiwan, he has amazing photos collection taken by Olympus OM-10. It's neat with fine details. He makes me love mine even more. And I wonder, how do people like him keep up with taking photos so frequently? I know it’s a passion, you’ll enjoy it when it’s something you’d love to do, but sometimes you just can’t find time for it, no? Check him out because you should!

It was the first time I took a train to go back to Ipoh – my mum's hometown. The train ride was okay, they even have wifi service(that I can never connect LOL). I just didn't expect it to be so cold inside – I was wearing sleeveless and really short pants. Thank goodness it was just 2 hours ride!

Whenever I came back, I'd always sit at the living hall. And my mind will be flooded witht all the memories with my late grandma. I love and hate this feeling. It feels like I only had memories with her in this house. I spent most of my school holiday time with her when I was small. She loved it every time I come back. She would talk a lot with me. She would yell at whoever trying to mess with me.

It's been 5 years. How are you doing in heaven, Popo?
