We made a spontaneous trip to Singapore last month, just few days after we moved in(finally!) for a weekend to meet my SIL and SW, it's just so great we got to spend time together. We also went to the zoo, which was something I really looked forward to but they were having company events for families so it was really packed.

I guess the (most unexpected) highlight of the trip has got to be Mamma Mia Musical. I happened to find out on the newspaper when I was just flipping through at the hotel lobby. I had been telling Joe how awesome it was and I would pay for the front row next time because it would be totally worth it. Isn't this destined to be?! That I get to watch it again? So without a doubt, off we went! Upon arriving at the theatre entrance, most guests are decently dressed for the occasion, except for us. We went in with Aly of course, and we have to keep her busy with snacks or toys at all time so she wouldn't make a sound, which is entirely impossible.

When the show began, she started to lose her patience and I was then invited to leave the hall by an old lady who was in charged of my section. I'm really thankful for this lady as she didn't just walk away but stayed by my side to cheer me up. I felt so much better talking to her. About 15 mins later Joe reach out to me, he knew I really wanted this, so I passed over baby to him and went back inside for the show while he watched it outside on screen.

I just remembered about wanting to compliment this old lady to Sands Theatre thru email but goddamnit I forgot her name by now. And Joe, thanks for making my dream comes true, you've done it again! ♡
Singapore

Last year seems to be all about wedding and pregnancy, gives me shivers just to think of these keywords(!). I regretted not taking more photos during with my belly though, as I spent most times of the last pregnancy being worried about what kind of unfortunate events could possibly happen. 😑 Thank God for these not-so-meaningless photos that almost left forgotten, a good reminder that my 2017 wasn't so terrible because I actually travelled to few places, it's not that bad afterall.

So happy we got to see and smell cherry blossoms in full bloom! It was the last day of the sakura festival so we are really, really lucky!

Looking at my March photo collection made me realise this month was all about family & friends. I'm so happy to finally made up for some friends I have not met for a long time. Not to mention we also had a meal & drink with SW family and Shamim while we're in SG. I really enjoyed that few hours of "slow" weekend in a shaded and quiet corner of a bar—watching people, munching on finger foods, chit-chatting while sipping on our drinks, before getting ready for dinner.

I can foresee April is going to be a fast & busy one too.

There's something about the deep blue ocean that draws and fascinates me. One spontaneous trip to our Singapore last weekend—just for the USS free tickets. As usual, it's always happy to spend time together with cuzzie's family. It's the wedding last Dec that got us a lot more closer than before, we spent a lot of time past few months making arrangements for the big day, along with CNY gathering back in Ipoh.

I wanted to utilise the limited time I have to meet up with some friends. Once I touched down in the afternoon, I went over to meet up with ex-classmates from college. The last time I saw them was about 5 years ago. So much to talk about yet we have so lil time. It was a great catchup session. After lunch, we walked over to National Design Centre for some architecture exhibition and took some photos there.

Later in the evening, I met up with Juleun whom I haven't meet since 2009 wtf. We had dinner and walked through all the malls in Orchard area. It's kind of funny to think how things have changed. I can't help thinking about the good old times. I miss the group of us being silly but happy. I miss us skipping classes and making fun of teachers. Am I the only one among us who misses the good old days a lot? Gotta blame the cancer traits inside of me.
It was last month when I promised Canny to go Singapore with her to meet Ellen(she swapped the flight schedule for us). I bought 2 way bus tickets 2 weeks earlier to keep her convinced. Exactly 12 hours since we left each others last night as I'm writing this.

Singapore has just become a favourite place to visit. My last trip was very laid back because the chosen hostel was too good to sleep in. Ellen's got our accommodation covered this time, with the strategic location of the hotel we were staying - walking distance to the mall & train station which have saved us more quality time to spend together and the best thing is it's only 5 min away from the bus terminal where I should take off from.

It all started with a discussion at the McDonalds of how are we going to sneak into the hotel room, doing facial masks then girls talk before bed, we continued by putting our make up the next day in front of the mirror that could hardly fit the three of us, lunch at Chinatown then spend the rest of our day having coffee at Vivo City.

This is how seeing USS through Holga is like. First roll on my newly bought camera, shooting on 120 medium format film, just love how uncontrollable the light leaks are!
