I finally have time to compile our birthdays trip + his proposal.
Everytime when we travel by ourselves, budgeting is a struggle. But we love our stay in Phi Phi Island so much, even though we didn't get to spend much time in the room. It's not cheap compared to many other hotels, it certainly does not have the most strategic location but it's worth every steps climbing up the stairs to get to the room and it's definitely worth every pennies we paid.
Joe went for scuba discovery the next day. It's the very same boat I was on last year with Evon. I like that it's free and easy with less than 15 person on the boat. Lunch and fruits will be served, and you get to make hot coffee as much as you can drink. The boy took us to a hidden bay nearby. It's a small bay with lots of hermit crabs. The view looking out from the bay is simply breathtaking. We laid on the beach just relax. It felt as all of our worries and stress get washed away as the waves crash along the shore.

Koh Hong, where he kneeled down and popped the question, on his birthday.
I told him that if he ever going to do it, please make sure I have my make up on and decently dressed. And yet he chose the time where I have salty messy hair, completely barefaced, plump body with a mismatched bikini because I thought, who's going to look at me thoroughly and judge me anyway? T__T

It was raining when we arrived at Krabi mainland. But it all went well, of course! We had dinner at a hilltop restaurant to celebrate Joe's birthday. It was a very simple occasion, just us enjoying our early dinner, laughing and taking pictures while watching the sun goes down.
Krabi has always been a place that I hold dear to, it's the first place I travelled abroad by myself. I've been going back every year, it's like my comfort place. Now Krabi has become a place that's even more special to me.
Now.. here comes the wedding prep nightmares every soon-to-be bride is afraid of......

Hello everybody I'm back! I was on a month break travelling around, mostly back and forth my beloved hometown, trying to fully utilise the whole month before starting my new job, which is why I'm super busy.
But first, let me make an announcement.
Isn't this hard to believe?! I'm going to get married!!! I have never imagine myself as a married person. And marrying my best friend? It's really happpenningg!! I did not see this coming because as I know, the ring will only be ready by end of July. We are already half way through the wedding prep so I assumed this part will no longer be necessary.
But I should have realised! He's been trying to act naturally while he's not most of the times. He doesn't usually carry a messenger bag and he bought one before the trip just so he could keep the ring and take it out whenever the timing is right.
PENANG & HATYAI

We flew to Penang then drove to Hatyai on the first day of July. We got to see the view of beautiful paddy field along North-South Highway at Kedah, it's breathtaking yet so quaint to look at. The journey was not too tiring, it's free and easy too. All thanks to Hans and Andrene's arrangement and hospitality, needless to say we had an awesome time!
LIVE IN PASSION

God knows how excited I am to be able to see him live again. I was there 7 years ago when he first held his concert, it was an ultimate concert experience, his voice is so soulful and powerful as usual. I think I may have seated too close to the stage that I can hear the noises from front speakers.
But I still enjoyed every bits of it! All hail the king!
BIRTHDAY WITH FAMILY

Before I fly again, we decided to have a family dinner for sis and my birthday celebration. We don't get this chance to celebrate together every year. It's very heart warming and sweet that everyone makes an effort. Even the cake looks rather sad.. I felt so loved!
KRABI
And Krabi... never disappoints.
I remembered texting him and tell him everything about my trip(I'm so used to share him everything) and he would say "OMG I want to go there one day!" Many years have gone by, can't believe we are finally here together!

It was a very laid-back vacation. We spent a night in Phi Phi Island and 3 nights in Aonang. We have no plans at all, just us and a bike. And holidays are meant for doing nothing, right?
SINGAPORE

Flying to Singapore was never a part of my plan. But this was when I finally have time to do nothing and catch up on the dramas I missed. I spent time with KY and Jiyen at MBS for dinner and walk. The night view totally blew me away, I wish Joe was with us to admire the view.
BESTIES REUNION

Because birthday means you get to claim meal treats from different friends LOL. I managed to spend some time with my girls on a weekend at Greenhouse by Muir. Just another great catch up session, we even did a remake of photos taken many years ago. ♡

Since it's a long weekend with Hari Raya holiday coming along, we decided to visit Sunway Lagoon on Thursday(my birthday) since I get free admission. On Sunday, we went cycling at the park for Joe's birthday. It was a simple yet special way to spend our special days instead of really celebrate it. It was so comfortably fun! At night we just cuddle on the couch, watch some movies with some drinks and snacks.
The weekend ended with our heart feeling so much of content and gratitude.

"Love, be good while you last."
Nothing particular about this song but it feels like a song I should be listening at the end of my fav month. Isn't this one of the sweetest duets ever?
Well, here you are, the last day of July. It's been really great month though, but of course with my efforts to make the best out of it! Lots of catching up with old friends, movies, beers, long weekend, visited the Aquaria and spent half day at the spa with my crazy sister..
A lovely month with so much laughters & tears! I'm incredibly grateful and will definitely miss it.

Finally got a full day for ourselves to celebrate our belated birthday. I couldn't be more happy and grateful than having to do this – we actually wore day dress for lunch & shopping and brought our night dress out to change for dinner. :)
Nice foods and drinks, good companion, another day well spent. So much love! ♡

The foods were delicious! I think I prefer having nice lunch than dinner – where there's natural sunlight for photo shooting, and probably less guilty. (P/s: I'm totally gaining weight back again)
My birthday was rather simple but kinda fairytale-like to me. I really wanted to remember this special night. Plastic candles filled up the living room as I walked in, blinking love shape wands in all different colors on the couch, big birthday banner hanging on the wall. Friends showing up as surprise from the room, but I couldn't react in time. I had my tears rolling down like crazy. I was then presented to a chocolate mud birthday cake from SR after that. As I blow off the candles, he showed up with a big brown box tied with a ribbon. Everyone knew what was that.

I've had a whole week of holidays and it was a very productive one. First 3 days spent with Daniel because he came here for a short vacation, then bro and aunt's family were here for the next 3 days. We had BBQ at the beach and dad's early birthday celebration at home.
It's been a whole 7 days of beers/liquors(and lack of sleep). I spent so much time with Evon more than I can imagine. Thankfully there were all good times. We were celebrating Peyling's 21st birthday at Bali last night, it was perfect. When the clock strikes twelve, 2 gentlemen walked her down to the aisle surrounded with candles to her birthday cakes then as she blows off the candles, there were fireworks set just next to her by the river. Everything was beautifully planned.
Finally back at work this morning, back to my normal & healthier routine — 8 to 5 working hours, endless OT, movies/drama marathon.
